Since the late 1990s, Canterbury has been procuring, cupping, and roasting organic coffees. resiprocate organic coffee was started out of a desire for community involvement by “giving back, one sip at a time.”
As a fair trade and organic coffee, our commitment to the farmers who grow our coffees and the sustainability of the earth is clear – by improving the way we do business with our growers, we provide a better life for their families, and by refraining from the use of pesticides and other harmful substances in the soil and crops, we conserve soil fertility and energy, protecting and sustaining the environment.
Additionally, with resiprocate coffee, we actively seek out partnerships with local causes and organizations. In 2011, we supported the David Suzuki Foundation, the Baby Molly Campbell Fund, Prostate Cancer Foundation in BC, CIBC Run for the Cure, BC Children’s Hospital Miracle Weekend, Fair in the Square, and many more.
