It’s time to celebrate! Our reSIProcate brand hit a huge milestone in 2019. Thanks to the amazing support of our customers, reSIProcate is now ten years old. That’s a decade’s worth of donations and support that we have been able to provide to local and coffee-growing communities from the sales of our reSIProcate coffee.
Over the last ten years, we put a portion of each sale of our reSIProcate coffee aside and have been able to donate over $150,000 back to a variety of charities.
You might be wondering, what sparked the creation of this brand? It all started in 2009; we wanted to create a brand that would help provide support to those who needed it and give back. We put our minds to work, compiled a list of our Fairtrade Certified Organic coffees then bada bing bada boom reSIProcate was born (well maybe it wasn’t that simple, but you know what I mean). Our mission was to “Give Back, One Sip at a Time” because we believed in giving back to our community. Over the last ten years, we put a portion of each sale of our reSIProcate coffee aside and have been able to donate over $150,000 back to a variety of charities.
There are a range of different organizations that we have donated to, including Grounds for Health. Grounds for Health ( https://groundsforhealth.org ) is a non-profit organization that is devoted to preventing cervical cancer in underdeveloped countries. They provide high-quality prevention services to women who don’t easily have access and were named charity of the year by The National Coffee Association in 2018.
We have also donated to several different food banks and other causes that help those in our local communities. A list of some of the organizations we have donated to include:
– Greater Vancouver Food Bank ( https://foodbank.bc.ca )
– Okanagan Boys & Girls Clubs ( https://www.boysandgirlsclubs.ca )
– Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre ( https://www.saskatoonfoodbank.org )
– Calgary Food Bank ( https://www.calgaryfoodbank.com )
– Edmonton’s Food Bank ( https://www.edmontonsfoodbank.com )
– Daily Bread Food Bank ( https://www.dailybread.ca/about/ )
– Ourplace ( https://www.ourplacesociety.com )
– Loaves & fishes ( https://www.nanaimoloavesandfishes.org )
– And many more.
We are very thankful for all the support provided by our customers. We wouldn’t be celebrating this huge milestone if it wasn’t for everyone who purchased our reSIProcate coffee over the last ten years. Thank you so much and here’s to another ten years!
