Canterbury Coffee won 5 medals and a Golden Bean Award in the large franchise category for the 4th consecutive year at the 2023 Golden Bean North America awards.
From August 8-12, 2023, nearly three hundred roasters from the United States and Canada came together in Columbus, Ohio, to participate in the 10th annual North American roaster competition.
Sean Edwards founded the Golden Bean Awards in his native country of Australia in 2006 after he saw a need to recognize coffee roasters for their innovation, and exceptional coffee.
Golden Bean is a valuable opportunity for roasters to improve their skill set, learn and network with others in the industry. The competition has 11 categories, and the entries are judged through blind tastings using a variety of brew methods.
Congratulations to the Canadian medalist, 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters, French Press Coffee Roasters, Mill Town Roasters, Ace Coffee Roasters, Bean et Bonheur, Artigiano Coffee, Stockyards Coffee, Circle K and Barocco Coffee Company, as well as all the competitors that participated in this year’s event.
