The hot weather means people are looking for new refreshing drinks. Here are a few of our favourites.
Iced Coffee & Cold Brew
Having a cold-coffee option is a good idea because it gives those looking for their daily caffeine fix something easy to try as a replacement for their regular coffee. Having an option like Cold Brew definitely, elevates your prestige.
If you’ve been serving tea during the winter, having an iced tea recipe is an awesome way to keep your winter customers tuned into your location over the summer months. We’d recommend keeping this one simple. Mix in a couple of fresh berries to give your tea another level of flavour and texture – this also goes a long way in elevating the quality level of your drink. Black teas mixed with mango flavour or peach seem to be a big hit.
Signature Summer Drink
Having a signature summer drink will create an experience for your customer that can keep them coming back. Try something different here, and encourage your front-line staff to suggest this drink to indecisive customers.
Here’s an idea. Look for Torani’s Lavender syrup in our lineup – there’s a growing popularity for floral flavours.
- Lavender Vanilla Milk Tea
- 1 tbsp Torani Lavender syrup
- 1 tbsp Torani Vanilla syrup
- 4 tbsp Evaporated Milk
- 16 tbsp chilled Black Tea
Combine ingredients in a 16oz. glass filled with ice. Stir gently.
Frozen and Milky
Another popular summer drink is the frappé. You can make these easily by combining a powder base with ice in a blender. Then serve as-is or customize freely, there are so many recipes out there for neat frappe drinks. Check out our line of Café Essentials frappe bases for some inspiration.
